Reach detection
ETT Easy Test Tips:
With the continuous updating of regulations, more harmful substances will be included in the list of SVHC candidate substances. The EU's strict control of substances of very high concern (SVHC) is bound to increase the export costs of various industries such as home appliances, textiles, and toys, and relevant companies must step up their response. For enterprises that have been confirmed to contain SVHC or may contain SVHC in export products, it is recommended to:
■ Comparing with the EU SVHC list, understand the characteristics of the products exported to the EU, detect the content of the substances in them, and exclude the possibility that the substances used may be defined as SVHC;
■ Follow up the revision of the REACH list of substances of very high concern, strengthen the research on the identification standards of substances of very high concern involved in REACH regulations, and strengthen the detection of substances of high concern;
■ Predict the future trend of the EU's SVHC list, establish a sound quality assurance management system, select environmentally friendly materials in product design, speed up industrial upgrading in structural design, and intensify development efforts to find safe substitutes for the use of hazardous substances.
Relying on the unremitting efforts of the R&D team and the rich technical experience of the laboratory, ETT always keeps abreast of regulatory updates and changes, and is at the top level in the field of SVHC highly concerned substance testing. It can provide customers with SVHC testing service solutions and provide consulting services. If you have relevant needs, please contact us!
Project Background
Since the EU Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals ( Reach Testing ) was promulgated and implemented in 2007, the list of SVHC candidate substances has been continuously updated, widely affecting products and manufacturing process.
According to Article 7.2 of the REACH regulation, when the mass fraction of SVHC substances in an article exceeds 0.1%, and the substance enters the EU more than 1 ton/year/company each year, the manufacturer or importer of the article must report to the EU Chemical Management Bureau to notify.
Testing products
Due to the wide range of products controlled by REACH regulations, products exported to the EU are covered. Products that need to be tested for SVHC include but are not limited to the following, and a compliant REACH report can be issued:
■ Electrical and Electronic Products ■ Furniture ■ Automobiles ■ Masks ■ Textiles ■ Toys ■ ...
