It can be seen that there is no technical difference between WiFi 6E and WiFi 6, only an extra 6 GHz working band.
In the follow-up, there is the upcoming WiFi 7 (802.11be), which adopts the CMU-MIMO technology to support up to 16 data streams, the maximum support 320MHz bandwidth, the rate can reach 30 Gbps, and can work in the three bands of 2.4G, 5G and 6G.

Note: In November 2020, FCC voted to approve the new rule: expand the UNII frequency band from 5.85GHz to 5.895GHz (UNII-4), so that Unlicensed services such as Wi-Fi can be used in the new 45MHz frequency band. Previously, the 5.85-5.925GHz spectrum was designated for Intelligent Transportation system (ITS) operations under FCC Part90 and 95.
三、各国Wi-Fi 6E 频段使用情况:
The EU did not open the Wi-Fi 6E Band 5 according to the conventional frequency band of 5925MHz ~ 6425MHz, but shrunk the low frequency band by 20 MHz (5925MHz → 5945MHz) to consider the operation of urban rail Intelligent transportation system (ITS).
At present, China has not made a plan for the spectrum of WiFi 6E, and it may plan all the frequency bands for 5G mobile communication in the later stage.
Countries that plan only 5925-6425 MHz for WiFi 6E are also considering whether 6425-7125 MHz band should be used for 5G mobile communication.
